In my years, I have collected a massive amount of notebooks, in just about every size, style, color, and digital to paper format. I have found (for me) the best are reMarkable2 and reMarkable Paper Pro. Both are about as thick as a 50-sheet paper note book, but they can store thousands of digital papers. With digital note books, you can import digital books, PDFs, and website text with help from a Chrome browser extension. You can import a contract as a PDF sign it digitally and send it back with your signature.
This link will take you there. I do not get any money for this link: https://remarkable.com
The ReMarkable Paper Pro has a color display, and you can select the color you want your text to be and change the color of you highlighter. This is also great for drawing and viewing pictures, though the resolution is not great for pictures it is good.
Computerized Maintenance Management Software
This is one of the most important things a maintenance department can have. If it is within your budget, it is strongly recommended.
NOW. Which one to purchase? NOTE: read the fine print. There are many similarities and many levels of the same thing with certain options are reserved for the more expensive levels. This is not a decision that should be rushed. I am currently using Maintain X. They work very closely with you to make sure you get all of the info. in to the system before you start. Here is the link to MaintainX which I have no affiliation with: https://www.getmaintainx.com
This technology is still evolving and getting better. Fluke is one of the leaders in this field and I like a lot of the tools that they have. Below are some links to show you what is out there:
